Oh! Ricey! Well this looks interesting… I have a way sore throat. drippy nose… I’m sick and it sucks. So some chicken phở should do the trick to make me feel a little better hopefully…
From top clockwise: rice noodles in handy tray, veggies, soup base, seasoned oil.
A nice colorful trio of flavors. I added an egg to the melange – what was nice was the little plastic tray was a nice place to put the egg shell for a second as I did up the eggs and noodles.
Click image to enlarge. So here’s the whole deal. The broth was superb – a little heat, a lot of chicken flavor. The veggies are ample and tasted good. The noodles were nice too. After eating it I feel a little more relaxed and better. I’m giving it 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. Get it here.
i tried this one and sunlee’s pho ga as well. this one has almost double the noodles and i enjoyed them more because they were thicker. sunlee had the better broth, i think though..this one had somewhat of an odd spice that i didnt care for, but the heat level was nice. for the price, you definitely get more with this one then the sunlee bowl.
the one thing i had trouble with though.. was the artificial chicken flavoring. i added pieces of chicken breast, and every time i ate a piece, i got some flavor of real chicken, then i would taste the broth which was very similar but artificial. i kept alternating between the two similar but different tastes and was constantly reminded of the odd artificialness of what i was eating..was really off putting.
if i would eat this again, i would eat it plain, or with something other then chicken. i have a feeling that goes for most artificial chicken soups. maybe the egg really is the best all around option.
Doll Brand Chicken – the bomb and its artificial.

I found your site while trying to discover the definition of Laksa Singapura flavor. I took a cue from the Koka variety and now keep a packet of instant coconut cream powder to add to all the instant noodles I eat. Delicious!
