Here’s something new – was blown away that I hadn’t noticed it before. This is kosher ramen! It’s made in Canada for a company in Los Angeles called Tradition…
A stamped number on the foil but other than that no identifying characteristics…
Yellow imitation vegetarian flavoring!
Click image to enlarge. So I added two eggs while the noodles were boiling. So this reminds me of Nissin Top Ramen but with a less salty flavoring. Not bad – it’s very nice. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. Would be nice to see some veggies. Get it here.
So nothing on YouTube fitting this so I went with dudes showing you how to make top ramen and mispronouncing it. Peace.
I kept very strict kosher for several years, and as a ramen addict, those were grim years. I found the chicken flavor to be acceptable, but the oriental flavor from Tradition was my mainstay.
It was a poor substitute for Nissan Top Ramen, but with enough Texas Pete hot sauce and an egg dropped in, it got me by until I stopped being so strict about my kosher observance.
Im also a big fan of Texas Pete myself. I’ll have to find some of the oriental and give that a try!
