Here is the first of eight varieties of instant noodles made by Sakurai Foods of Japan. This one looks really good from the picture on the package! Let’s check it out.
The back of the package (click image to enlarge). As you can see, nothing is in English – however the numbers in the directions section tell us that the noodles are to be added to 500cc boiling water for three minutes.
The noodle block. These noodles are very tasty by themselves; light and crunchy.
A single seasoning powder packet.
Has a very nice flavor of soy, a light sweetness and a tasty saltiness. I can tell this is going to be good stuff!
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added hard boiled egg, thin sliced turkey and Urashima Sesame & Salt furikake. The noodles are very good – light and plentiful with a nice chew. The broth is extremely good with a buttery and salty taste that leaves me wanting more. This is delicious stuff! 4.75 out of 5.0 stars – elegant and simple.UPC bar code 4960813480177.
