Here’s another one from T&T Supermarket up in Canada. From my research, I found that this product was first introduced in 1963. The little medal on the mid-right is about this – it’s the 50th anniversary of Nissin Yakisoba this year! Let’s check this one out!
Here’s the import sticker (click image to enlarge).
This came in a 5-pack – here’s one of the panels from the outer plastic wrap (click image to enlarge).
Here’s the back of the individual package (click image to enlarge).
The noodle block.
The seasoning packet.
The powder smells like yakisoba sauce – sweet and Worcestershire.
A very small packet…
…of seaweed to sprinkle on top!
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added some beef, Walla Walla sweet onion and broccoli that I sauteed in Worcestershire sauce. The noodles have a good consistency – soft with a light chewiness. The flavor is out of this world – everything I would ask for from yakisoba. The seaweed gives it a nice finish. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 4902105001233.
