I wanted to do something special with this one. Recently, I visited Waroeng Jajanan, an Indonesian grocery nearby. As it turns out, they make Indonesian style meatballs! I didn’t want to make this without sampling them, so this is a really exciting one for me! Honestly, I’ve never had Indonesian food other than instant noodles before! Let’s check it out!
The side panels (click image to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add all sachet contents except the tofu chips to the cup and add boiling water to the fill line. Steep for three minutes, stir and add tofu chips on top.

The vegetable sachet.
A nice quantity.

Has an onion scent.
The garnish sachet.
Tofu chips!
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added greens and a large meatball from Waroeng Jajanan and some hard boiled egg. The noodles were as good as usual – nice gauge and texture. The broth was a nice meaty flavor and had a decent heartiness. The tofu chips were a nice addition (not pictured as I forgot to add them in in this shot). 3.75 out of 5.0 stars.
By the way – the big meatball from Waroeng Jajanan was absolutely delectable! I wish I would’ve gotten a picture of what was inside this amazing thing – a perfectly cooked hard boiled egg with a soft yolk! Thank you! Wonderful! 5.0 out of 5.0 for their food! I’ll be doing a review of something else I got from there today after the Meet The Manufacturer is over. UPC bar code 8992388112807.
I thought the computer voice on this was a little odd!
