Here’s one that Annie T. from MyKuali sent me from Malaysia – thanks again! It’s been a lot of fun trying varieties from Malaysia and Singapore in the last year. Usually they’re pretty hard to come by where I live, so new stuff is always welcome. I’d never heard of Adabi brand until a couple of months ago. The first one I tried was #1276: Adabi Mi Bandung Prawn Mee – and it was really good! I’m curious if this is going to be your standard chicken curry or something a little different. Let’s have a loot inside!
Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge). I’m not sure if this is meat free or not. To prepare, boil 400ml water. Add seasoning sachet contents to water. Then add noodle block and cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy!
The noodle block.
This was sort of a surprise – only one seasoning sachet. Usually packaged instant noodles from this region seem to have a few.
Not that one sachet can’t be enough, though. It contained a lot of strong curry seasoning base – smells good and a bit spicy!
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added grilled chicken, green onion, sweet onion and BonCabe Level 10 chilli seasoning. The noodles are pretty good – they start out with a light chew and end gorged and soft. The broth has a very nice curry taste and a good heat to it. This is excellent stuff – 4.25 out of 5.0 stars.
