More curry! Man, I really like curry – a lot. This is one people refer to as ‘Maggi Mee’ an awful lot. ‘Mee’ or ‘Mi’ means noodles in many Southeast Asian countries. Sounds good to me – let’s check it out!
Before we begin though, I thought I’d share this picture with you all. Why am I showing a picture of a table? Well, my mother has been saving this table for me – it’s the dinner table from my childhood! It’s got two leafs and gets bigger, which is the way it usually was. At this table, I tried instant noodles for the first time, tried curry for the first time, and spent time with my family during holidays and dinners. It’s really neat having it in our new apartment! Just thought I’d share.
Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodle block and sachet contents to 400ml boiling water. Stir gently and cook for 2 minutes. Enjoy!
The noodle block.
The soup base sachet.
Has a nice color and great curry scent.
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added sliced green onion, bell pepper, hard boiled egg, tau pok (tofu puff) and chicken. I also sprinkled BonCabe Level 10 chilli seasoning on. The noodles are good – very standard kind of instant wheat noodle. The broth has a very nice curry taste and a little zing of heat to it. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9556001121963.
