#1439: Adabi Mi Segera Mi Goreng Pedas Instant Noodles

Here’s the last of the Adabi varieties I received from Annie T. of MyKuali in Malaysia – thank you! It’s a wet and rainy day outside this morning. It started raining just before 7am and has been ever since! In northwest Washington state, we sometimes get a big dump of rain in the summertime – even got some thunder! You can see how easily amused I am! Anyways, spicy mi goreng sounds like a nice accompaniment for the day’s weather. Let’s have a look at this one.

I’d like to take a second to send my condolences to the people and families affected by the tragedy of flight MH17. May they find peace and justice.

Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge).  Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil 400ml water and add noodle block. Cook for 2-3 minutes until soft. Drain then add contents of sachet and combine. Enjoy!

The noodle block.

The paste sachet.

Has a very nice sweet and spicy scent.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added shrimp sauteed with soy sauce, garlic and BonCabe Level 10 chilli seasoning, lime, sweet onion and hard boiled egg with a dusting of BonCabe. The noodles have a good gauge and chewiness. The flavor is a little bit or sweetness and a strong spiciness along with some saltiness. These flavors combine together nicely and play well together for the palate. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9556252283506.

A short video I made of the summer rain this morning.
