Got this sample recently and been really wanting to try it. Well, today’s the day. They told me that it has a very strong tomato flavor and is ‘robust.’ I have been asked by people quite a few times ‘so whatever happened to the tomato flavor instant noodles? They were really good!’ I’ve never really figured out what the heck they were talking about, guessing that they were referring to a domestic brand most likely. Well, let’s check out A-Sha’s take on tomato!
Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodles to a pot of boiling water and cook for 4 minutes. Drain. Add in contents of sachet and stir until combined. Enjoy!
The noodle block.
The sauce sachet.
The whole room now smells like tomatoes – really smells great!
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added fried onion and spring onion. The noodles are soft and very good. They have a light chew and a great width and thickness. The sauce is as mentioned above, robust. It’s got a strong tomato flavor and also some herbs in there as well. The flavor is exceptionally good and it’s like these noodles were made to be bathed in this sauce. What’s also nice is that the quantity of sauce is adequate for the amount of noodles. Brilliant! 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4715635852554.
