Here’s another one that was sent to me by Justin M. from Winfield, BC up north of here in Canada! I haven’t been a big fan of these Canadian instants thus far, but I keep trying them in hopes one will be really good. Chilli Seafood definitely has a nice ring to it – let’s see if it lives up to its name. Let’s go!
Detail of the side panels (click image to enlarge). Contains shrimp. To prepare, add in sachet to cup and add 280ml boiling water. cover and let steep for 3 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.
The soup base sachet.
Oddly enough, it smells like a spicy peanut butter.
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added kamaboko and narutomaki. The noodles came out alright – a little on the funky side inasfar as they have a kind of strange texture. The broth was surprisingly flavorful – indeed, a little spicy and a seafood-like flavor! The vegetable bits hydrated well too. I guess if you keep trying, you will find something decent! Well, at least somewhat… 3.25 out of 5.0 stars.UPC bar code 057197990294.
During the holidays, we watched the Will Ferrell movie ‘Elf’ and he drinks maple syrup at one point. Maple syrup is one of the best things that comes from Canada, and so I thought this Loblaw’s brand President’s Choice 100% Pure Syrup sounded like something to check out.
You might be wondering why I picked this one. Well, I’ve been listening to space disco lately. It’s kind of that 70’s sound of the sci-fi future kind of thing. Here’s a long mix of it – I like it.
