Here’s a different one – a box with 5 different varieties! Check it out –
I reviewed one that had the oat noodles the other day, and in a couple days I’ll be reviewing one that has the purple potato noodles. I thought I would check out the pea noodle today. I’ve never heard of such a thing, and so it sounded fascinating. Let’s take a pea-k at the pea noodle!
Here are the side panels of the box (click image to enlarge). Not sure if these contain meat. To prepare, add noodles to 600ml boiling water for 3 minutes and add contents of one seasoning sachet. Stir and enjoy!
The box has 5 of these packages of noodles, and this is the pea variant.
Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge).
The noodle block.
The box contains 5 sachets of soup base. I asked what flavor they are; what it sounds like is that it’s kind of a universal flavor that will work with anything you add. I’ll try to describe it when I try it.
A very light powder.
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added red bell pepper and beef. The noodles definitely have a green complexion! They also have a nice subtle pea taste I quite enjoyed. The broth which is identical in all of these varieties is exactly as stated; a kind of ‘pan-flavor’ which would go well with a pairing of most any meats or vegetables. Salty and herbed. This was really nice! 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6936986858257.
