Here’s another neat one that I saw during my trip to Thailand and the kind folks at Thai President Foods sent me a sample of! This one’s made in Bangladesh. Hot and spicy sounds good – let’s check it out!
Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge). Not sure if it contains meat. To prepare, add noodle block and seasonings to 210ml boiling water and cover for 3 minutes. Stir and enjoy.
The noodle block.
The soup base.
Has a spicy scent.
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added coriander and hard boiled egg. The noodles are very light and flat in nature. Soft as can be and it works very well. The broth which ended up more like a gravy or sauce was good too – spicy and had a nice flavor to it. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars.EAN bar code 8941181000040.

A MAMA TV commercial from Bangladesh!
Hi, long ago #159 you reviewed noodles of a similar name by the same brand and I’m curious if they are diffrent? Did they change how the make them? Just curious because the have such diffrent ratings.
Yeah these are completely different products- one is for the export market and made in Thailand and the newer review is made in Bangladesh for the local market. Totally different noodles and the old review shows multip[le sachets as opposed to the single one in the newer review. Might have to try that Hot & Spicy again – been a little while!

I recently purchased one of these on Amazon but i cant tell which. The pacaging is diffrent. It says “Oriental Kitchen” “Hot & Spicy”. Ther is no english on the packaging other than that. It was shipped from Thiland, has one flavor packet and one garnish/veg. So which review would that be?
Hmmm…. I’ve not reviewed the pack version of any of the MAMA Oriental Kitchen ones – I’ve tried the cups though. What you’re referring to is yet another variety. I actually picked up one of the hot and spicy packs yesterday and am going to do a re review today and I’ll post it later. I rarely do re-reviews, but I thought since you were interested in it, I’d do one today.
