Here’s another one that was sent to me by James B. from The Netherlands – thanks! First off, this one is groene curry, which translates to green curry. These are from The Netherlands and made by Unilever. Let’s check ’em out!
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in sachet contents and fill to line with boiling water. Let stand 3 minutes. Stir and enjoy!
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
The noodle block.
The soup base sachet.
Has an almost pine kind of scent to it.
An oil sachet.
Looks like vegetable oil. Cold in here!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added fried garlic. The noodles hydrated well enough; they were a little on the al dente side though. The broth was anything but green curry. It was like a green colored corn chowder. It’s wasn’t bad really, it’s just… Well, if you went to the store and bought spicy chicken noodles and got sweet seafood flavor, it would be a bit vexing. This isn’t curry by any stretch of the imagination. 0.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8711200585106>.
