Well, this is embarrassing… From time to time I’ve accidentally pasted the watermark twice and one ends up in the middle of the image. Sorry about that! About a month or so ago my wife and I were at the Edmonds 99 Ranch Market and she noticed a whole bunch of varieties and asked if I’d tried them. I’m legally blind, which basically means my eyesight is there, but so poor that it’s hard for me to cross the street, would be a menace behind the wheel, and miss a lot of instant noodles that my wife catches at the store! Let’s check out this Tom Yam flavored mi goreng!
This is a huge distributor’s label on the 5 pack (click to enlarge).
Here’s the back of one of the individual package (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles for 3 minutes and drain. Add in all sachet contents and stir. Enjoy!
The noodle block.
A dual sachet.
Chilli powder atop seasoning base.
A dual liquid sachet.
Seasoned oil mingling with sweet soy sauce.
A sachet that says ‘chilli sauce ala Thailand’ on it…
Has a very sweet scent.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Dodo prawn fkavior fish balls, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, lime and coriander. The noodles are good – decent gauge, nice chew. The flavor is a little different. First, it’s spicy. Then sweet. Then I’m getting this odd bitter taste; and where’s the lemongrass? I really like the idea of tom yum mi goreng, but this isn’t what I think of when I think tom yum. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9555050301122.
