Hey check it out – Nissin Cup Noodles got a big facelift.
Here’s how they used to look – cardboard outer packaging is now gone. Less packaging and different materials have been used to make them more environmentally friendly. Also, they’re now microwavable! Yes, I’m sure many of you microwaved them before, but you weren’t supposed to. The new cups also have a little extra room so you can add veggies and meats or whatever you want to oomph up your noodles! Let’s check this new cup out!
Thought I’d do a little update of how Miles is doing. He”ll be just over 5 months old when this review comes out. He’s growing fast and seems to be interested in just about everything.
He always looks so fascinated when I’m eating noodles too – it’ll be a while, but he’ll get to try them, that’s for sure.

Bits of vegetable from the cup.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added processed cheese, barbecue pork, mayonnaise, fried garlic and red pepper flake (and no, it isn’t 3am and I haven’t just returned from the pub). The noodles come out very nicely after a spin in the microwave – decent quality and good quantity. The broth has a nice chicken flavor to it. Nice and hot out of the microwave too. The vegetables came out well hydrated and crisp. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 070662030035.
