This is the last of the IbuRamen tray varieties I’ve seen available. I really didn’t care for the other two, but hey, it’s curry day! Let’s see how this one fares with a curry fanatic.
The bottom of the cardboard outer (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself.
Here’s what you find under the cardboard outer.
A little card with preparation instructions from inside (click to enlarge). To prepare, remove all sachets. Add in 200ml water and microwave 5 minutes uncovered. Replace lid and use drain spout to drain off water. Add in powder and liquid sachet contents and stir well. Garnish with Lingam’s sauce. Enjoy!
The noodle block.
This is an interesting anomaly. First, yes – it says Mexi-Ramen. But second, this is a dual-sachet labeled sachet – but it only has one seasoning inside! Not sure if I’ve ever seen this before.
A dark powder.
A vegetables sachet.
Big ol’ shallots!
Okay I screwed up here – I forgot to take a picture of the liquid sachet.
A final sachet.
A light powder.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added shrimp and carved squid. The noodles were very standard of gauge and chew. The flavor on this one was really quite good! A kind of creamy curry works very nicely. The fried shallot is a super nice bonus as well. Very pleased to find that I like one of these varieties – the other rated very poorly. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 850248004113.
