A year or two ago, Nissin Foods USA started putting a new, updated package on their classic Top Ramen products. I haven’t really done any new reviews of them, but I figured why not. This one’s probably one of the most ubiquitous instant noodles found in the United States. Let’s have a look.
The back of the package (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, add noodle block to 2 cups boiling water and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in contents of sachet. Stir and enjoy!
The noodle block.
The soup base sachet.
Has a chicken scent.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added broccoli, red bell pepper, mushroom, tomato and baked chicken. The noodles are as I remember – standard gauge instant. It’s kind of hard to describe these since they’re just so ubiquitous; like describing breathing. The broth is that nice chicken flavor – thin, but tasty. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 070662010037.
Nissin Top Ramen Chicken – 3 oz – 24 ct
It never ceases to amaze me – so many videos that people post on YouTube about their ways to doctor up Top Ramen. I found this one particularly interesting – why not watch this guy cook up some Top Ramen – it’s over a half an hour.
