Another one send to me by Casey K. from Hong Kong – thanks again! I wonder – does that character towards the bottom of the pack looks familiar? Well, it’s the same as what you see on Nongshim’s Shin Ramyun products – spicy! Let’s check out this Japanese variety and see just how spicy it is!
The distributor/import sticker (click to enlarge). Contains pork and chicken.
Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge). To prepare, Add noodles to 500ml boiling water and cook for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Stir and enjoy!
The noodles.
The soup base sachet.
Has a very nice scent.
An oil sachet.
Must be the spicy component.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added hard boiled egg, spring onion, barbecue pork and pepper flake. The noodles are very nice – straight and have a premium chew to them. The broth has a good tension – not thin at all but not overly oily. The stuff is like a spicy shoyu. 4.25 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901726011249.
Itsuki – Kumamoto Mokkosu Ramen for 1 Servning
So I did this video a couple months ago – and now it’s obsolete as I’ve got a newer system of doing things! However, it’s kind of the same deal. I’ll be doing a new video soon.
