The nice folks at Ippin sent me this one (SG folks click here) – thanks again! They are purveyors of all things Japanese! This ramen we have here today is a HALAL-friendly chicken variety – looks great! Let’s check it out!
Ajinatori Halal Chicken Shio Ramen – Japan
Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, add noodles to 500ml boiling water and cook for 3 -5 minutes. Drain. Add 300ml boiling water and soup base to a bowl and stir. Add in cooked noodles. Enjoy!
Inside the package you find a pack with noodles and soup base.
The liquid base sachet.
Has a nice chicken scent.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, spring onion, hard boiled egg and baked chicken with panko. The noodles are thick and very chewy; I cooked them for 4 minutes although perhaps 5 would have been better. The broth has a very strong salty chicken taste to it with a little bit of oiliness to it. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4937678050593.
