Here’s another one I found at a local Indian grocery. So this was in with the instant noodles. They have tall cylindrical wire cage-like things that hold instant noodles there. Kind of weird; I’ve seen many Indian groceries have instant noodles this way. Pazzta! Let’s check it out.
Maggi Nutri-licious Pazzta Tomato Twist – India
A distributor/import label (click to enlarge).
Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodles and sachet contents to 225ml boiling water and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Looks like a twisty little wheat noodle.
The seasoning sachet.
Smells like tomato.
Finished (click to enlarge). The pasta comes out without a hitch. Indeed, pasta-licious with a light mouthfeel but not floppy; it’s got the right backbone. The flavor is definitely tomato, but with a gobsmack of spicy to it. Really didn’t expect the spiciness but hey; it’s from India! Has to have some spicy! 3.75 out of 5.0 stars.
