Today we have one I have had the export version of in the past. This however, is the local Singapore version. One thing to note for the Vegetarian crowd is that these have that little box with the green circle inside. There’s two kinds – the green circle or the red circle. Green means suitable for Vegetarians and red means not suitable. Also, they’re steamed and not fried, and to top it off, there’s no added MSG, something people are always interested in. Well, let’s get started with this tomato variety from KOKA!
KOKA Delight Tomato Flavor Instant Non-Fried Noodles – Singapore
Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge). Bears the green circle – suitable for Vegetarians. To prepare, add noodle block to 450ml boiling water and cook for 2~3 minutes. Add sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Here’s the noodle block – significantly light in weight than it’s fried brethren.
The soup base sachet.
A very light powder with a tomato scent.
A sachet of dehydrated vegetables.
Looks like carrot and chives for the most part.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion. The noodles are of an excellent gauge. Moreover, they have a nice chew and bounce to them – plus they’re not fried. The broth has a very nice tomato flavor to it – very much like a fresh tomato bisque. So much so, I wonder how this one would be with maybe half milk half water. The included carrot, bell pepper and chive garnish hydrated nicely and the carrots had a nice crunch to them! 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8888056000265.
So, you need to tell us when you try it with the water/milk base.
