Here’s one of the packs left over from the Tat Hui Meet The Manufacturer. They sent around 36 kinds and I only do a max of 15 varieties for a Meet The Manufacturer series. I looked at Wikipedia for some words on curry in Singapore, however got this about Malaysia – they’re neighbors so hope that’s alright –

Rendang was mentioned in Malay literature Hikayat Amir Hamzah[23] (1550s)[24] is popular among Indonesians, Singaporeans and Malaysians. All sorts of things are curried in Malaysia, including mutton, chicken, shrimp, cuttlefish, fish, eggplants, eggs, and vegetables.The vegetarians in Malaysia would make vegetarian curries with vegetables or tofu based products.
It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of curry. I like it Japanese style, Korean, Indian, Malaysian, Singaporean, Thai – anything curry and I’m onboard to give it a try.

Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge). Says ‘suitable for vegetarians.’ To prepare, add noodle block to 400ml boiling water and cook for 32 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added Dodo shrimp fishball, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, tau pok, chilli oil and coriander. The noodles have a standard gauge with a slightly heartier chew. The broth has a nicer curry flavor with a slight spiciness to it. It also seems just a little sweet. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8888056813124.
