I went to Taipei, Taiwan on November 15th, 2017 to take part in the Taiwan International Food Expo. I was invited to do a presentation of the first through third place winners in this year’s Top Ten Taiwanese Instant Noodles Of All Time 2016 Edition!

The Ramen Rater Awards First Through Third Place At The 2017 International Food Expo
This was the first food expo I’ve been to – and it was huge. Before I came on to do my thing, they had dignitaries from Taiwanese government as well as other governments from around the world. It wasn’t only the food expo, but the coffee, tea, beer, wine, liquor, and machinery expo as well. It took place at the Nangang Exhibition Center station in Taipei – an enormous facility. I’d imagine you could drop three Costco store in there – and there were two floors! I met a lot of great people there and got asked to take pictures with them. I will be doing a day-by-day series of my recent trip to Taiwan (which will be found in the TRAVELS section soon) but for now, I wanted to share the award show. It was a fascinating experience I will not soon forget! Hope you enjoy!
