It’s snack time! So today we have a ramen snack from Taiwan. There a whole slew of different flavors and varieties – and shapes for that matter of these products. The first thing I do notice about these is that they’re called cubes, however, they look more like short cylinders to me. This being the case, it begs the question ‘doesn’t a crunchy cylinder sound good?’ I think they went with the right name, to be honest; BBQ Cubes sounds better than BBQ Cylinders. Let’s have a look.
GGE Ramen Snack BBQ Cube – Taiwan
Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge).Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, open package. Insert hand and grasp one or more BBQ Cube. Open primary facial opening and insert the desired quantity of BBQ Cubes. Masticate. Finally, ingest!
Short cylindrical pieces.
Finished (click to enlarge). The pieces are a nice bite-sized shape. They have a very agreeable crunch – light and definitely not something one would break their teeth on. The flavor is a combination of sweet, a slight bit spicy and then a kind of BBQ flavor. The flavor isn’t overly salty or strong but more on the mild side. For a snack, I give this one 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 074410705855.
