To start things off, we have a tomato variety from Meimen. Just as a reminder, all of the Meimen products are Vegan.
I’ve had many, many people ask me about Vegan noodle picks and so this should be one that those folks find interesting. I’ve also been asked about a Vegan top ten list, however I don’t consider myself qualified to pick apart ingredient lists to the point of declaring something as Vegan. Anyways, let’s have a look at this tomato soup from Meimen!
Meimen Tomato Noodles Soup – Taiwan
Detail of the outer package (click to enlarge). Note: This is a four pack. States that it is Vegan-friendly on the packaging. To prepare, add noodles and sachet contents to a bowl and add 500ml boiling water. Cover for 6~7 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). The noodles are spectacular – about as perfect as an instant can be. Just a nice plump gauge and a chew second to none. The broth has a very nice tomato taste and an oiliness which compliments well, giving it a good heartiness as well.
