Today, we bid adieu to Red Chef with this, the last review. I’ve had quite a few clear soup varieties in my day – and they’ve always kind of confused me, to be honest. The name kind of brings up the thought of something thin and kind of bland to be honest, but they’re generally never that. With what I’ve sampled from Red Chef thus far, I’m going to guess bland isn’t going to be what I find here. Let’s check out this clear soup, the last of the four reviews for this Meet The Manufacturer!
Red Chef Sesame Clear Soup Noodles – Malaysia
Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodle block to 400ml boiling water and cook for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
The noodle block.
A dry base sachet.
A light powder.
A paste sachet.
Definitely smells like sesame paste.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, chilli flake and Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts. The noodles worked so well in this one it was just phenomenal. The broth however wasn’t my ultimate cup of tea. The sesame was there and other flavors too, which was nice. It just didn’t appeal to me as the others did in this range. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9556145231034.

A little self indulgence here for my son Miles. He’s a huge fan of Journey. He sings along to all the songs.
