Here’s one I picked up while waiting to go to Din Tai Fung at the Taipei 101 – this was at the Jason’s Market there. First off, it’s curry – a flavor I always gravitate towards. Second, the graphics on this one just kind of dragged me to it. Never seen this brand or anything before so I guess the only thing to do now is crack it open and give it a try!
Nunu Fresh Flavors For Life Creamy Curry – Vietnam
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add 350ml boiling water and sachet contents. Cover for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
An included fork!
The noodle block.
A dry base sachet.
A light powder.
A vegetables sachet.
Chives? Spring onion? Looks like some TVP in there.
An oil sachet.
A seasoned oil.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, tofu puff and coriander. The noodles were alright – had a kind of different texture I enjoyed to them. The broth was indeed curry, yet it was on the milder side. Nothing wrong with that though. Interesting and satisfying. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8938507039433.
