Hey look at this! This is most definitely the largest yakisoba I’ve seen to date! This came by way of Hobby Link Japan, a great site that has all sorts of amazing Japanese things including instant noodles! Thank you very much! Here’s what they had to say about this unique variety on their website –
Can’t decide what kind of yakisoba you want? We’ve got you covered with this two-in-one set of instant noodles! You’ll need to split the 820ml of hot water required between both containers — which are kept separate so you can enjoy each flavor on its own.
Peyoung’s Cho-Omori style Yakisoba is packed with double the noodles and double the sauce! The Gekikara variety packs a super spicy punch in a regular half-size serving. Cooks in just 3 minutes!
Unfortunately, the site mentions that this one has been discontinued so you’ll have to go get the regular and spicy versions separately. But let’s have a look!

It’s literally two full sized noodle blocks as you would find in the regular packages.
The vegetables sachet.
A nice mixture.
A dual sachet.
On the left, seaweed and sesame seed.
On the right, white pepper.
The original flavor yakisoba sauce.
A lot of liquid.
The second sachet – the spicy yakisoba sauce.
Another large amount of sauce.
Finished (click to enlarge). Spicy is top right. standard lower left. Spicy: added spring onion and Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts. Noodles have a good gauge and nice chew to them. Flavor wasn’t really my favorite – the spiciness lent itself more to a bitterness which was just not enjoyable. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. Standard: Added spring onion and Kewpie mayonnaise. The gauge of the noodle is again very good as is the chewiness. The flavor is a sweet and tasty yakisoba which I enjoyed quite a bit. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. 3.0 + 4.5 / 2 = 3.75 out of 5.0 stars overall. JAN bar code 4902885003465.
Yakisona and baseball – sounds like a good combo!
