One of the very last varieties sent by the Butlers from their trip to Italy – thanks again! Yup – Italian yakisoba! Not something you’d expect, eh? Well here it is and I think we’ll just have to crack it open and take a look – let’s do it!
Buitoni Yakisoba Gusto Classico – Italy
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Unsure whether this one contains meat – check for yourself. To prepare, add sachets and 250ml water to a pan and dissolve for a minute. Add in noodles and cook until water is absorbed or for 4 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
The noodle block.
A dry sachet.
A coarse powder.
A wet sachet.
Yakisoba sauce.
A dry garnish sachet.
A ton of vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added sauteed beef, micro arugala. Noodles were alright but seemed a little funny. The flavor of the yakisoba sauce was definitely different. It was very acrid and acidic; not one that I liked. The sheer cavalcade of included vegetables wasn’t the best either. 1.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 7613035103320.
