Here’s what they had to say about this particular variety – “Based in Fukuoka on Kyushu island, the home of tonkotsu ramen, Ramen Jinanbo is an award winning Tonkotsu broth (pork bone broth) ramen that ranked #1 in a prestigious nationa ramen competition.
The chef has studied and perfected a recipe which uniquely minimizes the scent of the pork bones in order to create a rich soup base that is neither too fatty nor salty. This is a famously delicious soup that has become popular with all ages and people.
The classic Hakata-style made from wheat are thin and straight noodles, perfect for capturing this soup and delivering that perfect mouthful. Best prepared firm or al dente.”
Hey awesome! Let’s check it out!
#3201: Jinanbo Tonkotsu Ramen – Japan
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Can’t read Japanese, but I’m sure it contains pork. To prepare, boil noodles for 45sec-1min and add 270ml of hot water for broth. Finally, combine and enjoy!
This box contains three servings – here’s one of the three packages of noodles.
One of the three wet sachets.
Thick stuff!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, spring onion, chashu, kizami shoga, shichimi togarashi, sesame seeds, soft egg. Noodles are thin and very good – they only cook for a minute or so and just come out exquisitely. The broth is porky and hearty and smooth – just the nicest flavor you could want in a tonkotsu. A fine bowl of noodles. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4527760120008.
