Here’s another one I found up at FoodyWorld in Richmond, BC. It’s nice – we can drive up to Canada in only a couple of hours and visit he largest population of Asian folks in North America. I’m really lucky to live where I do, doing what I do. Destiny? Perhaps. A lot of luck though!
Thanks yet again to Kyle K. – he’s been super awesome when it comes to translation – especially when it comes to directions!
Shun Savory Dried Dandan Noodles – China
The import/distributor’s sticker (click to enlarge).
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Unsure if it contains meat – check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles in 1000ml water for 2~3 minutes. Heat liquid sachet for 2~3 minutes. Drain noodles, and add all sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!
A serving of noodles.
Dry base.
A wet sachet.
Peanuts sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, egg, sesame seed, and spring onion. Noodles were thin and of good character. The flavor was a Sichuan pepper and kind of salty hit. Needed more of something but unsure what. The peanuts definitely helped. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6971913320056.
