Well here’s something interesting. A big bowl from China! Burning! Spicy! Hot! Man, I hope this one is good – let’s find out!
Yibin Burning Noodle Hot & Spicy – China
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge). Unsure whether it contains meat – check for yourself. To prepare, take out sachets and fill to line with boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain. Add in remaining sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!
A sticker on the side of the package (click to enlarge).
An included fork!
The noodle block.
A dry sachet – guessing perhaps sesame seeds.
A wet sachet.
Both sides of a large wet sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion. A non-fried noodle hydrates only so-so with a strong offering of sponginess. The flavor is definitely not something I’m a fan of; an almost putrid acidity and Sichuan pepper hit. The peanuts (crushed) were nice, but they didn’t save this one from the stripey hole. 0.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6970657440259.
