Well, here we go!I did a Meet The Manufacturer with Mr Lee’s a couple of years ago, and now they’re going to be producing in the USA! Sounds like starting May 2020 their products will be available (and also made) here as well as in the UK. They’ll be available on Amazon and I’ll do reviews of the Us made versions when they become available. This one’s only 218 calories! Not only that, this is one of the few manufacturers that use freeze dried rather than dehydrated bits. Let’s check it out!
Mr Lee’s Noodles Hong Kong Street Beef – United Kingdom
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge).
Th opposite side of the labeling (click to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, shake the cup. Open and add boiling water to fill line (more for soupy, less for less soupy). Cover and let steep for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.
Loose ingredients from the cup.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added nothing. This one has rice noodles. They hydrate perfectly in the 3 minutes directed. The broth reminds me of a pho broth – I think it’s the spice combo they’re using. The vegetables are perfect, as it the beef which is chewy and believable – not crumbly or funky. Impressed! 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 5060492470243.
