Here’s a fancy one from Japan found in a Zenpop box – check out zenpop.jp and use the coupon code RAMENRATER for a discount!
Here’s what they had to say about this one – ‘A brand new collaboration ramen that commemorates two award winning ramen. This combines the infamous miso ramen from Oshima, in Sapporo, Hokkaido with the rich tonkotsu from Tanaka Shoten in Adachi-ku, Tokyo. The end result is a delectable spicy miso pork bone based ramen. Oshima’s miso ramen has won first place for 5 consecutive years in the Tokyo Ramen Of The Year Awards, and Tanaka Shoten recently won for their rich and sharp pork bone broth.’
Sounds good – let’s see how it is!

The noodle block.
A dry sachet of powder.
A wet base sachet.
A big sachet of garnish.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo organic mung bean sprouts, egg, barbecue pork, spring onion, sesame seeds, chili oil, Lao Gan Ma Spicy Chilli Crisp, and nanami togarashi. The noodles are premium – worth the 5 minute wait too. Excellent backbone and strong tooth. The broth is downright voluptuous; imparting a sludginess of rich salty pork flavor but not too oily. The included garnish had a seriously impressive amount of minced pork which was delectable. One of the best bowls I’ve seen from Japan. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901990364430.
