Time for something porky! I’m curious how this will be – guessing less like a tonkotsu, more like a stewed pork kind of flavor? Guess we shall find out!
Sau Tao Pork Bone Flavour Sichuan Noodle – Hong Kong
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, Boil one bundle of noodles in 500ml water for 4 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
The noodles (2 servings).
Dry base sachets.
Wet oil sachets.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, egg, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, sesame seed, kizami nori, pepper flake, and chashu. Noodles are quite nice – soft texture. Broth is a semi-clear pork flavor – leaning more towards what I would think of with a stewed pork taste. Oiliness was nice. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 087303859696.
