So Monday my wife Kit got a dreaded kidney stone so if you know what that is, your know what that is. I’ve never had one, but watching her go through dealing with one before, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Luckily, when I type here it’s generally 100 days down the road that it’s published, so hopefully that stone is long gone. Evil things, these stones…
Something not at all evil though is Indonesian food. Well, unless you get something spicy and weren’t warned – that can make you jump a little. I’m kind of curious about this one as it’s definitely without packaging something I would guess to be Indonesian. Why? The dual sachets are a dead giveaway. Two dry, two wet.
This however is made for distribution in the United States – which is great because we need more Indonesian stuff here. Anyways, let’s give it a try!
Lemonilo Naked Ramen Chicken Chow Mein – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles for 3 1/2 minutes. Drain. andd in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added baked chicken, coriander, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, egg, sesame seed, and chili flake. The noodles are good – definitely have a little extra chew to them. As far as chow mein, I dunno – it imparts the flavor of mi goreng, so spicy, sweet and salty. Excellent! 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 882095223195.
