I thought it fitting to start things off with probably the variety most familiar to people – pho, and in particular, pho bo. There are a ton of pho restaurants nearby me – haven’t been in a while and as I type this in after reviewing this one, I’m thinking I need to visit one. It’s been too long! Unfortunately, no restaurants open at this point – luckily, I’ve got a series of Vietnamese varieties to review! Let’s check this one out!
Vi Huong Pho Bo Artificial Beef Flavor Rice Noodles – Vietnam
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add sachet contents and boiling water to line. Cover for 4 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

A sachet of vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added boiled beef, Huy Fong Sriracha, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, Thai basil, and chili flake. The rice noodle is nice and soft and an ample portion. The broth is tasty -and oily! Good oily – and notes of beef and the standard cinnamon and clove. A nice combo. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8934663900433.
