Here we have the second of two varieties (one spicy, this one not), clad in paper. Pretty neat – they have character, that’s for sure. Let’s give this non-spicy variety a try!
Vi Huong Shrimp Instant Noodles – Vietnam
A distributor label (click to enlarge).
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains crustaceans. To prepare, add package contents to a bowl and 350ml boiling water. Cover 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
A noodle block.
A dry soup base sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, egg, spring onion, Thai basil, shrimp sauteed in Chabe sambal, and chili flake. The noodles are nice – they have a great quantity and a kind of slight sponginess which gives it almost a tapioca like texture I enjoyed. The broth has a light and salty kind of shrimp thing going on which is complimented by the noodle’s play with it. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. 8934663102295.
