Hooray! Let’s go to India! Actually, I went to India Supermarket in Bellevue, Washington last month! They have a really great selection of varieties from India. It’s pretty common that Indian varieties come in these wide 4 packs. They had a ton I’d not tried and you’ll be seeing them rolling on through shortly. I got some neat stuff to add in as well Let’s go!
Nissin Top Ramen Fiery Chilli Noodles – India
Detail of the import stickers (click to enlarge).
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Has a green dot which denotes suitability for Vegetarians, but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodles to 230ml boiling water and cook for 1 minutes. Add in sachet contents and cook an additional 2 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
One of four noodle blocks.
One of four seasoning sachets.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added butter chicken, chili flake, and spring onion. The noodle has a mushiness which is absolutely perfect here – it goes with the broth (referred in the note on the package as gravy). The aroma is reminding me of Mexican food, but the flavor is certainly not. It’s bright and has a neat spiciness to it – not death spicy or in need of an SHU mention, but has a very good blend of savory and spicy. Very happy here. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
