Here’s the second variety shipped by PLN Food Co. Ltd. of Taiwan. Really appreciate them going to all the trouble shipping these over – I can’t even imagine how much it costs to ship a 90 pound box express international via FedEx! This one’s got a spicy paste involved and sound really good – let’s check it out!
PLN Food Co. Ltd. Spicy Paste Noodle – Taiwan
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Unsure whether it contains meat – check for yourself. To prepare, add noodles and sachets to a big pot of boiling water. Boil for 60-90 seconds. Drain noodles. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added sauteed beef, sesame seed, spring onion, and pepper flake. As with the last review, these are what I’d call million dollar noodles. They impart such a nice mouthfeel while cradling the flavorings just so well. The flavor is a little spicy, a little acidic, and very savory – it hits all the right notes and the paste has a really neat texture to it. An easy 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4712366991064.
