Found this neat little box of noodles recently at 99 Ranch Market and thought oh yeah I’m trying this. The name is kind of hard for me to say – pretty long too. I don’t always like to share which has been a failing of mine I’ll admit. Maybe my daughter will try it. Then I can say I shared, but I won’t say I love to share.
Love To Share Xiangnian Daoxiao Noodles – China
An import sticker (click to enlarge).
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles for 6-8 minutes. Drain. Add in sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!
A lot of noodles.
Definitely looks like two servings here but I don’t see any division in the package to denote two servings thus far.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added sauteed beef, sesame seed, coriander, egg, and chili flake. The noodles are really quite good – very wide with a great chewiness. The flavor is a nice balance of mustard green, black vinegar, and Sichuan pepper sauce. A Westerner might see this akin to lasagna in consistency. I find it enthralling and unique. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6927645509306.
