This is the first review in a while – I’m about 95 reviews ahead at this point, so today it’s July 8th. Last review I did was about June 27th. I challenged myself to walk 1,000,000 steps on my Fitbit in June (just over 470 miles). I dedicated my journey to my mother, who passed the day I completed it, June 30th. I took a week off to reflect and get four top ten lists done. Today, I’m back to walking – I did some yesterday and boy – a week of inactivity sure saps your stamina. Anyways, let’s try this one.
JML Instant Yakisoba Majiang (Sesame Sauce) Flavor – China
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add vegetables sachet, noodles, and boiling water to line. Cover for 3 minutes. Drain. Add in remaining sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!
A pair of chopsticks!
The noodle block.
A large wet paste sachet.
A wet sachet of soy sauce.
A sachet of vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added sauteed beef, fried egg, spring onion, chili oil, sesame seeds, and shichimi. Noodles were chewy and very dry, which worked well here. The sesame paste had that dry and peanut butter kind of thing going on, and the soy sauce element brought that out nicely. Included veg worked well too. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars.
