Well hello, Malaysia! I was going through my stores of reviewables and found this one last week and though today was the perfect day to give it a try. Honestly the main reason being is that yesterday my daughter tried some yakisoba, so I thought maybe she would like to try this dry variety as well. I’m not sure if this will be as spicy as last time I tried it – it’s a new version.
In Malaysia, the theme is new and improved – I’ve reviewed varieties from this and other brands that have changed every year – or more often! It’s a neat thing I experienced first hand in Malaysia as well as at home with this one. First time I tried it, I wasn’t a fan. They rolled out a new version a few years back though, and I was a fan of that. Yet again, here we have a new version! Let’s give it a try!

The noodle block.
A paste sachet.
A sachet of fried onion topping.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added fried egg, shrimp with Chabe Sambal, coriander, chili flake, and coriander. Noodles have that thickness and chew I enjoy and work well in this dry environment. Flavor is a spicy and extremely strong prawn flavor. Paste was hard to combine, but worth the effort – if you love prawn then this will blow your mind. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
