There’s been a lot of comment in the Instant Noodles – The Ramen Rater Facebook lately concerning ramen vs pasta. This most certainly is pasta. However, a chicken macaroni soup from Malaysia definitely an interesting thing. Plus it’s instant. Let’s give it a try!
Kay’s Instant Macaroni Chicken Soup – Malaysia
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, add sachet contents to 350~450ml water. Add in macaroni and boil for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

A dry sachet of soup base.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, baked chicken, spring onion, sesame seed, and pepper flake. The macaroni came out nicely – tender and light. The broth definitely tastes like chicken. I would call this one ‘as advertised.’ 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9556000900068.
