Here’s the other spicy variety from the Cheetos Mac’N Cheese series. I should note that we tried the non-spicy regular cheese flavor today. Wasn’t bad; wasn’t amazing. Anyways, I also want to point out something – this isn’t macaroni; it’s rotini. Macaroni is pasta shapen in tubes. Rotini isn’t. Just saying. Alright – let’s give this spicy one a try.
Cheetos Mac’N Cheese Flamin’ Hot Flavor – United States
Detail of the box (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil pasta in 6 cups of water for 7 minutes. Drain. Add in seasoning mix, 1/4 cup of milk and 2 tbsp butter. Finally, stir and enjoy!
The rotini.
The seasoning sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added London broil luncheon meat, spring onion, and crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The rotini came out as expected; and has the elements one finds standard in rotini being mainly how the corkscrew styling kind of holds more of the sauce. The flavor was a slightly muted Flamin’ Hot; it could definitely be more ‘flamin” but it was adequate. A very odd kind of thing and the color was definitely interesting and almost troubling. 2.75 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 01530020023.
