A recent local find. Unfortunately, the website mentioned on the box is defunct. Luckily, I kind of figured out the way to cook this one up from seeing varieties that did come with soup on YouTube when I looked up Lanzhou. Let’s check this one out.
Niudafang Lanzhou Ramen – China
Detail of the box (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles for 5 minutes. Drain. add everything in. Finally, stir and enjoy!
I guess this is in the event you have a Snoopy Snow Cone Machine.
The noodle package.
A dry sachet of powder base.
Another dry sachet.
A seasoned oil?
A chili oil?
Something pickled?
A large sachet of broth.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added marinated egg, spring onion, beef, sesame seed, and chili flake. The noodles came out well, they have a nice chew on them. The broth was kinda weird – had some black vinegar and some heat. An interesting mélange. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 694489380078.
