Haven’t had this variety in years and it looks to be a little different. There’s a fellow on YouTube named FirstNameLastName that’s been following my channel for quite a while, offering insightful comment and input on my episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time. He mentioned what I figure was this one, so seemed right to me to give it a go. Let’s check it out!
Nissin Demae Ramen Black Garlic Oil Tonkotsu Flavor – Hong Kong
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles in 500ml water for 3 minutes. Add in dry base sachet and stir. Finally, add in wet sachet contents and enjoy!
The noodle block.
A sachet of dry soup base.
The black garlic oil sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added narutomaki, marinated egg, spring onion, sesame seed, shichimi, and chashu. The noodle is of a familiar gauge predominate on the instant market, however it has a nice plumpness which I favor. The broth has a nice tonkotsu flavor – well bumped with the garlic oil. Excellent stuff, worth a try. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4897878830015.
