Here’s what they said about this one – ‘Bubuka is one of Tokyo’s most famous abura soba (soupless ramen) shops! Just like the abura soba they serve in person, their instant version has a thick, oil-like seasoning that’s packed with flavor. Thick noodles help you mop it all up. Condiments for sprinkling include black pepper, roasted garlic, spices…and even a savory mayonnaise!’
This is a special review – this one is going to be the first time I’ve been able to use a new tool at my disposal – if you wanna see it, you can check out Instant Noodle Recipe Time at the bottom of this review. Today dawns the age of the green onion slicer! Let us begin.

A dry sachet of garnish.
A dry sachet.
Everybody loves mayonnaise!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, sesame seed, and green onion. The noodles are thick and chewy but definitely not underdone. Very good. The flavor was very nice – definitely not yakisoba that’s for sure – but it was a kind of seafoody taste. Mayonnaise bumps things up as did the chashu and narutomaki. Really nice. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902881419488.
