Here’s what they had to say about this one – ‘Tantanmen is a spicy style of ramen. This tantanmen is special. Just like the original noodle dish from Sichuan province in China, this instant version is without soup. Springy, thick noodles mop up a savory sauce. This sauce is part sesame creamy, part chili oil spicy, and part numbing pepper tingly. Enjoy the seasoned minced pork and crunchy greens as well.’
Ungh – yeah this is right up my alley – let’s give it a shot.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, spring onion, sesame seed, and mala sauce. Noodles are exquisite – great tooth and gauge. The flavor is a very nutty and Sichuan peppercorn spicy hit which works well. Well lubricated and very edible to say the least. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902105244234.
