Well, didn’t I just hit one of those big numbers a few weeks ago? Well, much earlier than I hit my 4000th review, the video at the bottom of this one got published. See, my episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time come out sooner that the posts they’re for. It’s nice having things staggered a bit to be honest. Well, the epiosde at the bottom of this review is my 1200th episode of Instant Noodle Recipe Time! A couple interesting things about this episode are the fact that I’m sure the kitchen will be incredibly hot – tomorrow (I get the posts ready for the review the night before) is probably going to be the last ultra hot day of the summer (if we’re lucky. Today it got up to 93F here if not hotter. It’s also kind of humid. We also have a lot of smoke from forest fires. So, I’ll be slaving away in a hot kitchen tomorrow – I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for watching the show.
Now turning to the subject matter at hand – Grilled Ribeye Vite Ramen! Stoked to give this a try! This one has 30g of protein, 500 calories, 25% of your daily vitamins, a buttload (pun intended) of fiber, and only 500mg of sodium. I really like seeing the little message on the lower right – made in the USA with living wages – nothing better than seeing a company that cares about their employees. Let’s give this a try!
Vite Ramen Grilled Ribeye Beef v1.2 – United States
Detail of the back of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, boil noodles in 2 cups water for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
The noodle block – has a very nutty scent.
A dry sachet of soup base powder.
A sachet of vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added sauteed beef, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, spring onion, Fresno pepper, crushed red pepper, Old Bay HOT Seasoning, marinated egg, and sesame seed. It just boggles my mind how they pull this off. I could totally see myself being able to go for a month just eating these noodles 3 times a day. They’re thick and chewy and have a great mouthfeel. As it says on the package, you can add salt or seasoning if the broth isn’t salty enough for you. I definitely fall into that category, however the flavor is a great base and it allows for a little experimentation. The benefits of these noodles are really amazing and they’re really good! 4.75 out of 5.0 stars. No bar code.
